Significant advancements for diagnosis and treatment of SARDs/IMR has been due to the effort of researchers at Iowa State University (ISU). All of the funding provided for SARDs/IMR research has been provided by the generous donations provided by kind and thoughtful donors such as you.
While SARDSAwareness.org may organize our own fund raising activities, we are not recognized by Iowa State University to act as an official intermediary agent to receive and transfer donations on behalf of Iowa State University.

The link on the brochure to http://www.vetmed.iastate.edu/animals/caf appears to be broken. However, you can reach the official Iowa State University page for donations via this link: http://vetmed.iastate.edu/alumni/giving-gift. About half way down the page you’ll see the Companion Animal Fund paragraph.
We do, however, make it convenient for you to donate via our site, if you so desire. All proceeds collected via the Google or Paypal Checkout methods below will be forwarded to Iowa State University and specified to be used for SARDs/IMR research.
SARDSAwareness.org will not retain any monies from your donations. This means that 100% of your donations will go to Iowa State University for researching for the treatment and cure of SARDs/IMR.
You can rest assured knowing that all administrative and overhead costs for maintaining SARDSAwarness.org, including domain registration, site hosting, and Google & Paypal Checkout processing fees will be paid for by us (Suzanne and Jay).
All Google & Paypal Checkout transactions will be disclosed whenever there is new activity and a quarterly payment will be forwarded to Iowa State Unversity’s Companion Animal fund on behalf of SARDSAwareness.org and its donors at the end of the first quarter when the donation balances meets or exceeds $100USD.
The quarters are defined as follows:
- March 31
- June 30
- September 30
- December 31
